WOW, look at this, I have never seen more realistic concept of the Sony Ericsson than this.

As you can see, the concept is made by J. Havrlant

Good job man, really good job.

If you remember, not so long ago, Sony Ericsson P3i and Sony Ericsson M610i have been spotted on the Microsoft's Windows Live Messenger Chinese site.

Now we can find Sony Ericsson P5i and Sony Ericsson P3i at a Chinese, but this time on another site under Symbian phones section.

The listings contain pictures of the devices, P3i's picture is the same the one found on Microsoft's site, but P5i is something new, but of course it's not a real one. If I correctly remember, it's one of the P5 concepts :)

Most significant fact is that, the listings contain specifications of the handsets:

Sony Ericsson P5i

GSM / GPRS / WCDMA / EDGE / HSDPA; 900/1800MHz
Available colours:

Unknown
Weight:

Unknown
Display:

260,000 color TFT color screen 480 × 640 pixels
; (Would be nice)
Operating system:

Symbian OS 9.3, UIQ 3.2 interface

Talk time:

Unknown

And as I've already said before, those listings is a mistake or carelessness of the webmaster or the person who added these phones and nothing more :)

A couple of days ago, anonymous reader of our blog, commented interesting link of the Sony Ericsson's spy photo in the article about Sony Ericsson K530c. Unfortunately there was not anything but link of the photo, no comment about its name or specifications.

But at least we have a photo of the Sony Ericsson device, which wasn't released yet, so let's consider it.

Unfortunately the photo has poor quality, portrayal is too much blurry for image recognition. Housing of the device looks like the housing of Sony Ericsson W910, which was released not so long ago. So it may be as Walkman branded as well as other member of the Sony Ericsson's mobile phone series.

What can we say about its specifications? I think nothing but huge display (Maybe touchscreen) and 3G capabilities.

Of course my opinion stays same as I've already noted in the previous post. I can't believe in it's authenticity until I see it at least with a good quality. But in spite of this, I think it's featuring much more realistic look than the spy pic of the Sony Ericsson P5 posted in the previous article.

Anyway, no matter if it's real or not, thank you anonymous reader for this picture :)

Not so long ago a spy picture of the most awaited smartphone Sony Ericsson P5 has been leaked on the Internet. People are talking different things, some think that this is it! Yet, other people think that this is just a fake, probably a Photoshop work.

I can't believe this is a real picture until see it at least with a good quality. Why do you guys always take spy pics with such a poor quality? And what kind of camera are you using? What kind of meaning has taking pictures like this, if you can't even prove authenticity of those pictures?

I do not know your opinion, but I can't see anything proving its authenticity.

Of course it would be great if it's real, but in my opinion it's yet another fake.

A while ago, Sony Ericsson has patented Dual-Sliding technology. It features a full-QWERTY keyboard layout as well as a numeric keypad.

FYI, Dual-Sliding mechanism is not a novelty and has already been used by several manufacturers, like Pantech (PN-810; C810), Samsung (SGH-F520) ...

For me, it's quite dexterous and would be great if Sony Ericsson could implement this concept into its devices in the nearest future. If we look at Sony Ericsson's last innovations and patented technologies, they are preparing something really good, or at least I hope so :)

Abstract from their patent application:
A mobile terminal that allows sliding between housing in two directions. The housing may be for PDA use with and alphanumeric keypad exposed and another position may be for phone use with a numeric keypad exposed. One housing may include pins that extend from one surface and another housing may include grooves in an opposing surface to receive the pins. At least one longitudinal groove may be provided, and in one embodiment two lateral grooves are provided to accommodate two longitudinally aligned pins. An overlay may be provided that may be exposed to cover keys with numbers or navigation indications when the housings slide longitudinally and may remain hidden when the housings slide laterally with respect to each other. A casing may be provided that substantially encloses the bottom housing when in the closed position.

Sony Ericsson's most awaited smartphone Sony Ericsson P5 is getting more and more popular. With it's specifications the device is already considered an iPhone killer.

We already know approximate specifications of the device, but till now, we knew nothing about design of the handset, however on the Internet some images of the device have appeared.

On the pictures we can see really nice concepts of this gadget. Of course, both images are only concepts, but the matter is that, according to the rumors, both pictures are very close to the real model.

If it's a real appearance of the Sony Ericsson P5 with its specifications the device is really going to be an iPhone killer.

Be afraid Steve, Sony Ericsson P5 is coming :D

Not long ago, a picture of Sony Ericsson’s new device has hit the Internet. On the picture, we can see that device is named PXi... What is that? Is this a new prototype of the new device? Or is it just a concept, really nice work made by another amateur designer? Or maybe it’s another concept or even a prototype of the long awaited Sony Ericsson P3??? I dare to ask that because as we know, same thing was with the latest SE smartphone Sony Ericsson P1, in early appearance, the device was wearing another name – Sony Ericsson P700…

I don’t know what is that, but the fact is that I really like it, really nice design with huge screen…

So what we can say about it, it’s equipped with huge display, maybe 3.3 inch and it’s obvious a touch screen. I can also see a little front camera and that means that device supports 3G. I also can see red jogdial button on the right side of the device and housing reminding Sony Ericsson P1i. According to the serial name P, the device is smartphone and that means that the OS is based on UIQ… That’s all I can say for now.

To be honest I don’t believe pictures like this and I think that it’s just another fake and I don't know why, but I really like it.

Let me present you a new concept of Sony Ericsson K660i Cyber-Shot.

In my opinion, the device design is pretty cool, but technical characteristics do not meet modern demands.

As we can see on the picture, concept of K660i is equipped with 2,1 inch QVGA 262k color display, 2mp camera and supports Memory Micro (M2) memory format. We also can see that the device is 3G enabled and equipped with front camera for video calls.

It could be very hard to differentiate it from another model of
Sony Ericsson's Cyber-Shot series - K770i. Basically, the concept designer thinks that it’s only the camera that would make all the difference.

However, I think that if this concept is implemented, it will have great demand and it will find its costumers.

To be honest, to me, the most anticipated phone is a new Smartphone - Sony Ericsson P3i. I already wrote about the rumors around this phone, but except all kind of rumors there are some concepts too made by Sony Ericsson fans. That's what I’m going to introduce to you today.

So take a look (Click on thumb for full view):

Photos of the new Sony Ericsson's Walkman prototype have hit the Internet. Possibly, it is a successor of the Sony Ericsson W880.

The new Walkman is equipped with a front camera for video calls, which, most likely, speaks about support for 3G networks and 3.2 Mp back camera. As you can see the display is larger than that of the predecessor. Also it is known, that the device supports Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards and phone is determined in brown/gold color scheme.

I think this is great info for Walkman fans and for those of W880.

Sony Ericsson has patented own concept of the touch keyboard.
Similar decisions are widespread enough in one-screen mobile devices, since mobile phones appendices for Windows Mobile and finishing "revolutionary" interface Apple iPhone.

Samsung will have two touchscreen phones (P520; F700v), LG will soon have on market three touchscreen models (Prada; KU990; KS20), Nokia confirmed that he is gonna release something interesting with touchscreen next year, so we can
suppose that soon enough Sony Ericsson gonna make something like iPhone or LG Prada, or maybe he's gonna integrate it in "PlayStation Phone"? I don't know, but I think it's gonna be something really good, in SE Style ;)
