I don't think that UIQ is dead :) On the contrary, it's getting more and more powerful and of course don't forget that beside of the Sony Ericsson X1, SE is also going to release two powerful UIQ based handsets - Sony Ericsson G700 and G900. And what about BeiBei or Paris (P5)? I feel otherwise, in the future with the new version of the UIQ, there will be more and more UIQ handsets and not only from Sony Ericsson ;)

Of course WM is powerful OS, but SE will never replace its UIQ with WM, no, I don't think so... :)Nickhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05490998155215221331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2798011891403367283.post-57533230654166746332008-03-19T04:26:00.000-07:002008-03-19T04:26:00.000-07:00It's too little, too late...I'm a P1i owner too, b...It's too little, too late...

I'm a P1i owner too, but I feel that UIQ is a dead platform and SE killed it with the release of a WinMobile device. Every developer I know is scrambling because they think that there will be no more new UIQ devices and that SE is moving to WinMobile as a whole.

I'm getting an iPhone!! Especially now with 2.0 supporting exchange.schackhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09462030246526042456noreply@blogger.com
