Next new series - G Series from Sony Ericsson has been announced with a couple of pretty powerful Sybmian UIQ smartphones - Sony Ericsson G700 and Sony Ericsson G900.

As I have noted, the new smartphones are packed with powerful abilities. Sony Ericsson G700 is equipped with a large 2.4" 262,144 color TFT display at a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, with unique single touch control menu, 3,2 MP camera, built-in memory up to 160mb. G700 is created to enjoy touchscreen text input, Web surfing, calendar and phone navigation.

Sony Ericsson G900 is also equipped with the same type of display, but differently from Sony Ericsson G700. It's equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi module and powerful 5.0 MP digital camera with 3x digital zoom, touch Auto focus and Multi-shot function, touch photo album and editor. Perfect for those looking for a one-touch media experience combined with their organizer.

Both smartphones are intended to work in UMTS 2100 and GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 networks and both will be available in selected markets from Q2 2008.

Hi
I am facing a problem in my cell phone Sony Ericsson G700. The problem is that it is showing wrong memory..the phone memory is getting used up day by day as i'm using my cell, whether i listen to songs or i click photographs or use any other application!! There are different areas where the memory is used up in the phone memory like:
Media files
Camera
Messaging
Contacts
Standby etc..

The camera memory is used up when i click photos and with it Stand by memory also fills but when i delete those photographs camera memory becomes zero but Standy still shows the same incremented value!!!
The problem in my cell is that this standby memory fills. I'm not able to figure out where is this memory utilised?? The memory fills up gradually and consequently the whole 160 mb (phone memory) gets exhausted within no time.
Kindly solve this problem...
